MANUARTI

The project partners

Five organizations, five trades, one single infrastructure.

MANUARTI is not one company's project. It is the meeting of five organizations, each bringing what it knows how to do: the one that owns and runs it, the one that holds the ground and brings the businesses in, the one that opens foreign markets, the one that builds the platforms.

Two offices of the Unione Artigiani Italiani, a national federation of public-space traders, an international network of export managers, a technical partner. Five different trades, held together by one infrastructure.

Who moves the goods

The logistics partner

  • MBE Centre 3220 · Pavullo nel Frignano (MO)

    Mail Boxes Etc.

Mail Boxes Etc. is the logistics partner of Tuscany Market Hub. Collection happens at each producer: from there the parcel travels to the customer, or to the market trader's stall, to be handed over at the market. That is why an order putting together products from two different workshops travels as two separate shipments, each with its own collection.

The centre that follows the project is Centro MBE 3220 in Pavullo nel Frignano, at via Giardini Sud 58.

The people

The local leads

Claudio Nobler

The project comes out of Claudio Nobler's vision — PhD in engineering, President of UAI Firenze, President of UAI Toscana, National Director General of the Federazione Italiana Ambulanti.

Three roles across three institutional levels — provincial, regional, national — which gave him, before anyone else, an overall view of the Italian productive fabric of small firms, micro firms and single operators in craft and public-space trading. A view that produced two founding acts within a few years of each other.

Nobler reads the paradox of invisible Italian excellence before the others do, and turns it into method: the problem is not one company's, it is the system's; the answer cannot be individual, it has to be infrastructural.

Out of that reading come the projects, and out of those projects comes a model with the structure to scale nationally.

Patrizia Grassini

In Patrizia Grassini the MANUARTI LI project has one of the key figures for the initiative's roots and credibility across the Livorno area.

Provincial President of UAI Livorno and a professional with over fifteen years' experience in subsidized finance consulting, she has built up over time a direct relationship with businesses, institutions and local producers, becoming a concrete point of reference for the province's economy.

Her knowledge of local dynamics, of funding systems and of the operational needs of SMEs makes it possible to turn the project's opportunities into tools that businesses can genuinely reach.

Within MANUARTI LI, Patrizia Grassini is the operational foothold that connects strategic vision, technical expertise and a human relationship with the area, giving the project solidity, continuity and the ability to make a real difference to local development.
