From the ridge the view drops over thick woodland and then the cultivated plain of fields and olive groves; blue hills line the horizon.

A farm on the hills between Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto, 250 metres above sea level. The olives are picked by hand, only in the estate's own groves, and at the mill leccino, moraiolo, pendolino and native frantoiano are blended: what comes out is a cold-pressed organic extra-virgin olive oil, in five sizes.

Where we are

Our estate lies 250 metres (820 ft.) above sea level on the gently rolling hills of Tuscany, surrounded by the charming medieval small towns of Suvereto and Campiglia Marittima, overlooking the Gulf of Follonica and the Etruscan coastline.

A printed map of the Livorno coast with villages marked by green dots and “Prata” ringed in yellow; below, the olive-tree mark and the contact details.
An olive tree with silvered leaves stands in the middle of a sloping meadow; a dry-stone wall runs behind it, a wooden post to the left.

Our organic extra-virgin olive oil

Our passion

Every year, our passion for genuine and natural food leads us to produce an excellent organic extra-virgin olive oil.

Organic means no synthetic pesticides are employed in our production.

The olives, picked by hand

The olives are hand-picked exclusively in the groves of our own estate.

Brucatura is an ancient method: the small fruit-bearing branches are combed by hand. This practice keeps the acidity very low, because the olives never touch the ground and are healthier.

A heap of freshly picked olives, green, pink and purple, mixed with olive leaves still attached to the twigs.

At the oil mill

Several typical Tuscan olive varieties are blended at the mill: leccino, moraiolo, pendolino and native frantoiano. Only our own olives make up the mix brought to the oil mill.

This yields a cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil, low in acidity, with a full and fruity flavour, perfect for a healthy and natural diet, rich in natural anti-oxidants, vitamins A and E, fatty acids, Omega 3-6 and flavonoids.

The perfect choice both for dressing and cooking.

A stream of green oil runs from the steel spout into the basin below, where the surface of the oil turns slowly.
The label of a five-litre pack on a blue cloth: a drawn olive tree, the words “Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva Biologico” and the season written by hand.

The craftwork we make ourselves

A sage-green macramé pendant frames a red oval stone between brass beads; the plaited collar rises on either side.
Three macramé collars on jute panels: a purple one with a grey stone, an ivory one with a dark teardrop, a red one with a blue oval and brass beads.
Four slanting wooden boards on the stall hold macramé necklaces with set stones; black panels with more pendants and a wooden box at the sides.
Four macramé collars pinned on jute panels, each with an oval stone at the centre: lilac, dark green, black and pale purple.
Two necklaces laid on a strip of jute: an iridescent white teardrop in a red net, beside a brown stone rectangle bound in purple.
A jute panel on the stall holds six macramé necklaces with set stones; below, on the red cloth, two bracelets and a small yellow duck.
The open-air stall with wooden stands and black panels covered in earrings; at the centre an open yellow case, a chest and coils of cord.
Rows of amber dropper bottles on a red-clothed stall; behind them hand-written cards list oils of helichrysum, St John's wort, lavender and laurel.
