Atelier di ceramica d'arte di Eva Munarin EVA MUN

Eva Mun's workshop on via di San Niccolò, seen from the street at dusk

Eva studied design in Milano and ceramics in Montelupo Fiorentino. That training is what lets her make ceramics that move on: they start from the classical form and look for a more contemporary design.

Eva Munarin

“I want to bring a feminine, almost spiritual touch to my work. Clay is a solid, earthbound material; the challenge is to create shapes and combine colours with a design that makes whoever looks at the piece forget its weight.” — Eva Munarin

The EVA MUN atelier in Firenze

EVA MUN is Eva Munarin's atelier, in Via di San Niccolò, in the Oltrarno district of Firenze a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio.

Here she works maiolica by hand: thrown on the wheel, then glazed and fired.

The collections range from the “Light and Color” tableware to one-off decorative vases.

Since 2025 Eva has also taken up ceramic jewellery: her Florentia collection is a tribute to feminine beauty and draws its inspiration from the Tuscan landscape.

And for anyone who would like to try modelling or decorating ceramics in the atelier there are themed workshops, courses and lessons for individuals and groups; one original idea is “Sorsi d'arte” — sips of art — for those who want to decorate ceramics and spend a relaxed, enjoyable few hours learning the craft over a good glass of Tuscan wine.

Tableware — Light and Color

Every piece is made with an eye to pared-down shapes and vivid colour: jugs, glasses, cups, bowls, plates, candles and other pieces for the table, created to add a touch of art and cheer to everyday life.

Jewellery — Florentia

With the Florentia jewellery collection — made entirely by hand with glazed ceramic elements — Eva celebrates Firenze by its ancient name: taking her inspiration from the beauty of Tuscany and expressing its harmony in an elegant design.

Decorative ceramics

The decorative pieces are made by hand with distinctive glazes in unusual colours, designed as contemporary one-offs that sit just as well in refined traditional interiors.

Eva also makes unique, exclusive pieces to order.
